I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher, but I was inspired to pursue the profession thanks to my 11th grade English teacher, Mr. Nardizzi, who found the perfect balance between challenging us as individuals and making sure that we were prepared for the future.
Beyond the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exercising: biking, running, walking the dog, reading and traveling. I have been extremely fortunate in my life to have traveled both inside and outside the United States as well as studied abroad at Oxford University in Oxford, England through the BSOP program at Oakland University.
